Sending files from AS400 Folder environment using Connect:Direct

I have data stored in AS400 Folder and I need to send these data using Connect:Direct to another company who also has Connect:Direct. I have successfully transmitted physical files using C:D before, but has never transmit folder documents before. Any advice would greatly appreciated.
