Given the incredible popularity with all of the collaboration tools out there, especially with Microsoft’s SharePoint, why is it that the IT Knowledge Exchange has not set up a topic especially for these types of questions? I am sure that there would be a very large number of questions/users in that topic area.

In former releases (7.x, 6.x) of quickplace it was necessary to enlist a user explicitly in the ACL of the domino directory (as author), to enable the offline-function for him (an absurdity in the case of more than 1000 user). Has this behaviour changed in Lotus Quickr 8?
