Client Access printer setup

I replaced the parallel cable to my Epson FX-880 printer with a D-Link 311P print server, and ever since then my Client Access printer sessions start with “Windows Default Printer” even though the .ws file specifies the Epson printer. I never had this problem until I installed the DP-311P. I am using CA v6.1 on Windows XP

thru client access print session setup, iam trying to find out what correct printer type do i select for a hp7580 printer, to select for the client access print session. iam having a problem and i think this is causing it…

printer trouble shooting for client access printer

this printer is hooked up direct to a pc with client access. it was working last week. we print production cards on it. we cannot get the printer to stay active. getting message printer not recognized. i checked the devices on the iseries side. and checked everything that i know how to do. everything looks ok. we can print a test page to this printer. i start the print session and it goes to the end status. i dont know what else to check. do you have any suggestions?
