AS/400 data transfer version 1.2 or 2.0
i have 2 different datatransfer files to get data from an AS/400 to excel. one is version 1.2 and the other has version 2.0 in the description what is the difference, cause i now got an other version of client access installed and the 1.2 version is not working anymore

RPG communicate with USB device?
Can an RPG program running in a 5250 session on a pc communicate with a USB device on that pc? I’ve used sockets to communicate with devices on the network, but never with a device without an IP address. thanks, rick metzger
