I have enabled rsyslog on Ubuntu and have my firewall logs going to this system. They are landing in the syslog file and I want them to go to a unique file such as /var/log/firewall.log. I have entered the following line in the rsyslog.conf file, but it doesn’t seem to have any affect.

if $fromhost-ip isequal ’192.168.223.1′ then /var/log/192.168.223.1.log

& ~

Does the config file care where I place that line? I have placed it close to the top before the local rule definitions.

How to configure ASA 5510 with dynamic IP address

I want to configure the Cisco ASA 5510 with my ADSL connection.
Adsl conection getting the dynamic IP address from ISP so how can i configure the ASA so i can use site to site connection and vpn client.
On site also having ASA 5505 and pix 506 with ADSL connection.
Office user also wants to connect to head office via vpn client.

The Anyconnect package on the secure gateway could not be located. You may be experiencing network connectivity issues.

Cisco ASA 5540 problem

I am facing som problem in ASA 5540.

My Problem is that [strong]particular one DNZ zone IP is no pinging from LAN[/strong] [strong]zone[/strong] at approximate ½ an hour. But in this time any DMZ IP is ping that IP. This problem is happen on daily basis. Please help me.
