I am wondering how important is obtaining Network+ certification within the IT field? Is this cert a good investment?

Does an A+ certification hold any value anymore?

Is A+ worth anything anymore now that wireless LANS and WANS are the standard user method of computing? Most people are on laptops, PDA’s or some other mobile device. Does it still makes sense to become A+ certified nowadays?
