How to derive bandwidth from the frequency of Cat6 cables

How do you derive bandwidth (bits per second) from the frequency of Cat6 cable (250MHz for example)? It is known that Cat6 can carry up to 1 Gbps.

Why should you install Cat6 over Cat5E cables?

If CAT 5E is rated for 1 Gbit and a standard CAT 6 (not 6A) will only support 10 Gbit to 40 or 50 meters, then what is the purpose of installing Cat6 instead of Cat5E?

Cat6 vs 25 pair

I am installing patch panels between 4 cabinets, less than 16ft apart. They want it tested to Cat6 spec's, but they want 25 pair cable used. Is there a performance difference?

Are you familiar with Microwave products (Motorola) and their relationship to Cat 5/6?Specifically, do you know the usable distance for a Cat 6 cable from a microwave antenna to the power adapter?
