Have you checked out all the configurators on the ibm web site? Lots of info there, and the chance to use the configuration tools the grown ups use.. - maybe even buy yourself a developer box at special prices… - No affiliation yada yada . . ..
You wll want to create SQL indexes on each file based on the where field(s) I believe that you can run these interactively in Navigator and capture the necessary indexes. With the correct indexes your SQL commands will find the record to update very much like a chain would. Phil
Well first off the previous answer was correct in that Access cannot read FileMaker files. Unless you have some very specific need to down grade the capability you probably should not be converting to Access, instead use the greater capability of FileMaker which goes beyond Access. That being said, if you really do have some [...]
I’m not aware of any method that automagically keeps track of that information. If you do not see a field(s) that relates to a create Date/Time stamp, then have a problem. Are you journaling the file? That would keep track of changes made to the file. Use DSPFD and search for ‘jour’. <pre> File is [...]
I don’t know what the “Standeard Report Creation Wizard” is since it is not standard on the AS/400, iSeries, i5, Power System, etc, etc, etc…. But if you are trying to print a screen shot of something, try this: 1.) Open the screen you want to print and hit the print screen button on your keyboard. 2.) [...]
You must be running very tight on disk space or this file is extremely large. For an example on our system, here’s what our order detail file looks like Physical has no key fields, 164 fields and a record length of 798 characters. Total number of records in the file 3,604,910 file size in bytes [...]

That would be just about every job site out there. Monster.com, dice.com, etc. All these are free to the job seeker. The company with the opening to fill pays a small fee to post the jobs up there.
If I’m following the question correctly… I do not believe that you can share values between subreports. You could set up shared variables in the main report, which has the values from each of the subreports, and then test those two variables against each other in the main report.
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the transmission. You will need to move the input to a formated file for that particular EDI type or Use EDI mapping software or Write a program to substring the data Phil i don’t think so because its one long string and my edi software wants 80 or [...]
Hi We have developed an integrated softphone <a href=”http://www.iscoord.com”>is-phone</a> that is smoothly integrated into IBM Lotus Notes, IBM Lotus Sametime, IBM Lotus Symphony, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Live Messenger and web browsers (is-phone click2connect). Besides the gain in efficiency due to flexibility (e.g. home office, traveling etc.) and cost reduction (is-phone connects to existing, [...]
Hi Rsaassoc, I am sure you are aware that generally for issues related to IDOC we need to ensure that the partner profile is correctly configured in WE21. The resolution of your issue could in the Partner Profile, outbound message type. On the details screen, for the maintenance of the message type there is a [...]
As with any law, it should start with a basic level and then permit restrictions above the level specified. So, the law could say 1024-bit encryption or better. Kind of like the states can make more restrictive laws than the federal gov’t but the states must meet minimum criteria.
I don’t know if theres a best backend, thats question probably more suited for the Microsoft/Oracle debaters, but… We have a Cognos 8.4 installation and we are using a combination of SQL Server 2000 and 2005. They make it a point that you can use any database server or datasource you want to rather easily [...]
I have a work-around. Basically the idea is to have the Excel application re-save the spreadsheet (using its own methodology). After Crystal Reports creates the XLS file I call the procedure below. Excel 2007 enforces the sheet name size limit of 31 characters; Crystal Reports was using the title of the report to create the [...]
Here are some information related to your DS3200 http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/resources/systems_storage_disk_ds3000_pdf_interop.pdf Storage FW should be at least 06.70.69.00 http://www-947.ibm.com/systems/support/supportsite.wss/docdisplay?lndocid=MIGR-5075356&brandind=5000028 http://www.ibm.com/systems/support/storage/config/ssic/index.jsp ______________________________________________________________________ From RickySR Thank you, but I was thinking more on the lines of how to set the ds3200 up so ESX will see it and be able to use the storage.

The ETL tool works well with our current system. hope this helps…
Have you examined NIST guidelines? You may take a look at http://csrc.nist.gov/ Data encryption rules, regulations, guidelines varies by state to state. In some states if the sensitive data is encrypted (does not matter the key length/strength) it is OK. Please elaborate a bit more and the context?
I find that using an OLE DB connection when writing a new report usually solves the login error. I had the same issue on a SQL database and created a user DSN connection to the database. What application is using the database, and is the database SQL?
