During last week’s Dell Enterprise Forum, many customers said they were more interested in the company’s integration plans than in new technology advances (including its all-flash Compellent arrays and the upcoming Fluid Cache for SAN flash-caching product). Does anyone know if it is possible to backup a database on a SQL Server 2012 Enterprise Edition and restore it to a SQL Server 2012 Business Intelligence Edition using SQL Server Management Studio? I would like to go the other way as well.
