Recovering objects without object detail
How to get the saved object details from the backup tape, when the library which contains the objects is saved without object level details.

Edit BRMS tape
I have 2 tapes that were saved under my Daily file group and I would like to change them to my Weekly file group. Its mainly a retention issue and I know how to go in and change the move policy, but the tapes are still in my inventory as Daily instead of Weekly.

How to omit one IFS file from BRMS on AS400.
Please let me know how to omit one particular IFS file from daily backup. The IFS ( /QIBM/UserData/OS400/ResourceMonitoringControl/var/vpd/Hardware.xml) is not being saved on daily backup due to job lock. Hence user requests us to omit this file from backup. Please assist me to omit the IFS file.

Problem to OMIT a log file
Hi, I do have a problem to OMIT this file ‘security_audit.0.log’ from my IFS daily backup. I tried security* or security_audit.0.log* or seucrity_audit.0.log    …. but still the same problem ‘Object not saved’. I have no problem to OMIT others files. Can someone help with this. Thank you

BRMS incremental Backup taking more time
Usually increamental backup using BRMS takes half hour where as the check point reaches in 4 or 5 mins….but last 3 days backup took more than 2 hours and check point reaches after one hour of delay, anyone pls suggest what would be the issue and how to resolve it?

BRMS reporting damaged objects after a backup
When BRMS encounters a damaged object, it skips the remaing libraries and goes to the DLO.  Where in BRMS can you check to see what libraries have been skipped?

I was saving all spool files using BRMS control group on a V4R5 system. Had an issue that the folder q1abrm was full. The job/BRMS was retrying to populate that folder for several hours. I exluded DEBUG and QEZJOBLOG outqs.  How can I resolve this?
