So me and my roommate are both hard wired into a router he has the first port and i have the 2nd…his computer is older and is damaged a bit. (4g ram prolly 2ghz). My computer is 12g ddr3 and 2.6 ghz…now i pull off the router about 1.0 Gbps and hes getting roughly 65 [...]

Setting bandwidth allowances on Windows Server 2003 R2
Can we set bandwidth allowances for domain users and cut off internet access when it hits a predefined threshold? We are running on a Windows Server 2003 R2 standard network.

Charges for bandwidth
Does it make sense for a data center to charge for the bandwidth that is used over a 30 day period? Doesn’t it make more sense to look at how much is used at any one time?
