• Should we use Duplicity as our backup strategy?

Several clients have come to us to work on a few backup strategies. We've been leaning towards duplicity for the remote backup but we have a few questions that need answering. Is it really reasonable to do a full backup every so often? And is duplicity efficient enough to do a full backup?

  • Best way to backup our production database

For the past several weeks, we've been looking at CouchDB for a CMS application. What's the best way for us for backing up our production database? Should we possibly clone the database (so we can use it in testing / development). What about just copying the files on a disk? Thanks for the help!
