In AutoCAD when I explode an attribute the values go away
I am using AutoCAD 2005. Is there any way for me to explode attributes and have them keep there values rather than having them go back to attribute difinitions? I want to explode an attribute and have it read the same as before I exploded it. Will later versions of AutoCAD allow you to do this.

ACAD right click copy with base point doesn't always work
When copying part of one dwg to another using the right click feature of "copy with basepoint", the copied entities do not paste when the right clicked "paste" is used. Why does this only work sometimes. It is very helpful feature when working.
