• How to recover AutoCAD autosave file?

My computer just shut down without warning. I lost my revision. As I know AutoCAD save temporary files automatically. I might be able to get my revision back by recovering from autosave file. Any help will be appreciate, thanks in advance.

I have AutoCAD 2014 for Mac, and I have recently encountered issues with hatch. • Disappearing JPEG image in Layout

I have imported a JPEG image detail in Layout Mode in 2012 LT. saved the file in 2004 LT and sent it to my client. The JPEG image can not be viewed by my client when he opens the AutoCAD file in ACAD 2004 LT. Is there a setting or switch he needs to flip or activate/deactivate?

  • Can AutoCAD edit .cal drawings?

I need to edit existing drawings that have been already scanned into our drawing vault, and some of them are saved as .cal file format. Can AutoCAD convert these drawings and open them for editing? There are a lot of them that need to be edited, so I am looking for the most expeditious way to do so.

  • ACAD right click copy with base point doesn’t always work

When copying part of one dwg to another using the right click feature of "copy with basepoint", the copied entities do not paste when the right clicked "paste" is used. Why does this only work sometimes. It is very helpful feature when working.
