I have a Highpoint ATA 454 RAID controller set up in a RAID 5 configuration with 4 disk. One of the disks in the in array is no longer recognized as a member because of one bad block. How can I "unmark" this disk as defective, and force it as a member of the array?
This is the famous little setting that is normally done on a laptop or dekstop. ATA Mode for Windows XP and ACHI Mode for WIndows Vista. Well, bless those modes, i had to use ATA mode for the setup in my new Dell Inspiron with Vista Business otherwise, i will see bluescreen almost 2-3 times a week...
