Macro Script on AS/400
Hi, Currently We are getting a Report on Monthly Basis using Macro script which runs manually on next day to monthend. Now, We have requirement for generating the Report on Monthend Date itself as part of over night process. Is there anyway to automate the Macro Scripts in AS400. Please suggest. Pradeep.

BRMS incremental Backup taking more time
Usually increamental backup using BRMS takes half hour where as the check point reaches in 4 or 5 mins….but last 3 days backup took more than 2 hours and check point reaches after one hour of delay, anyone pls suggest what would be the issue and how to resolve it?

On OS400, Is there a way to manage limitation for permissible librairies when they use the command WRKQRY? And for those limited librairies can we assign a limit or quota to the storage usage per user id ou user group to avoid creation of enourmous files? Thanks in advance for reply on that,

We are converting to an iSeries v6.1 and want to eliminate our track-feed printers. We have been told we can create overlays in Microsoft Publisher and have this “merge” with the spool file (invoices, purchase order, etc). I need step by step instructions in how to set this up.
