RUNRMTCMD will not run SQLCMD
I think I may have stumbled across the answer myself. Somewhere I got, apparently incorrect, info that OSQL would not run on SQL Server 2008, so I switched to SQLCMD, which is worthless. Switched back to OSQL and it works fine.

Looking for Old PTF’s
I am under the impression (maybe incorrectly) that V3R7 was an intrim release.  only used to migrate from a CISC box to a RISC box. we operated v3r5 and one of the procedutes of the CISC/RISC upgrade was to upgrade to v3r7 (on a CISC) as an intrim step to v4r2 (on a RISC). in another [...]

I agree with Tom. Call IBM now. You do not have the time to “try” something.

Title changing
I would go along with what Phil suggests. Store the value outside of the program. Does not make that much of a differerence if it is a *DTAARA, PF, or Msg file. I ususally us a PF. Also if you center the field, that would be the best option. This method has another adjavtage. You [...]

Hi, I am not sure if it works. But had you tried Physical Trigger?

I believe you will have to fine the PO. I could have an AS400 and sell it to you today. You could own it for any period of time and never turn it on; then sell it to someone else.

comparing the reports
If you copy the spool files to PFs, then you can use CMPPFM to compare the data. If you print TIME in your headings, be sure to exclude those records from the PFs. those lines will never match.

HI, A couple ways a pc policy that bites if violated.  That takes upper management involvement.  Have upper management sign a memo – distribute it – place it on a shared drive and re-educate the users on pc policy.  Eliminate excuses. We have strict rules about bringing in thumb drives/laptops.  We also monitor contractors/vendors.  If [...]
