IBM Client Access AFP Workbench viewer and Vista

I have done a full load of Client Access onto a new Dell laptop with VIsta and all works OK but the AFP Viewer… get the message AFP WOrkbench Viewer has stopped… How can this be corrected, if at all?

I am building a new computer for one of the executives at my organization.

I have installed Vista Business.

I want to install IBM Client Access V5R3, but have not foud enough documentation to support whether it is Vista compatible or not.

Some websites have said yes, other’s say no. Other’s say Vista Business and Vista Premium only, and others say the max is Windows XP SP2.

Is IBM Client Express Access V5R3 Vista Business Compatible?

We have always used heavy duty LEXMARK T614N with our AS400 170 vintage 2000.

That AS400 is steady as a rock….as were its as400 and 36 grandfathers we have owned…

But new e have several pc attached and need more convenience tp print fromthe AS400 CODE thru Client Access to the printer connected locally to the PCc

In 2000 the big LEXMARK T614 we installed were High power. Now many lightweignt models have even more power communication abilities

Our ERP package outputs thru …. AFP protocol that the big Lexmark seems to understand.

Any suggestion as to the settings the smaller lasers printers understand …. when received data from the 400…

Does Client access convert the EBCIDIC tocode the printer understand? If so How..?.

HELP is appreciated?
