how can i print bold on a hp 4250 *AFPDS printer fom the iseries? I am printing a barcode an would like to be able print in bold another field.

I got a problem during retrieve print queue information by API. The error message is “CPF3330 Necessary resource available”. Does any body have idea on it?

OK. I have tried everything. We have envelopes that are 12 1/2 by 9 1/2. I generated a spool file with all the data I want on it. B/c of the size we have to put them in the manaul tray. When I do this it will not use the Page rotation. I tired going to drawer 1 and no rotation. Then I tried *E1. Now that worked BUT the data was either in the middle of the page or at the bottom of the page depending on if I used *AUTOCUT or *CUT. I also tried using raster mode with a work station config file. That rotated it but again the data not alligned right. Its almost like its right justified. Does anyone have any kind of ideas. I’m ready to try anything at this point.(except buying a software package). Thanks

Hi,

is there any way to desing brand new printer file interactively like we do in SDA for display file/subfiles?

I’ve not designed any brand new printer file for RPG so far …
