In SST Service Action Log AJDG301, is registered due to abnormal IPL. What is this exactly and how do I resolve it? While Google says LIC is the failing item and applying PTF is the solution?

Hi All, Please find the log below…. CPF1816 80 INFO System utility power failed at 120725200228. QSYSARB5 QSYS 967606 12/07/25 20:02:28.866168 QSYS CPF1819 90 INFO System ending. i am getting an IPL/PATCH screen after pwrdwnsys. Re-performed IPL by selecting option 1. Additional options were for installing an OS, patching, etc. Doing the IPL like this brings the system through selecting ptfs. The Control Panel shows Manual instead of Normal. iSeries TS3100 web interface ‘locked by another user or interface’ error message
Trying to use TS3100 web interface, get login screen and enter id/pw, get message that ‘Management Interface is locked by another user or interface’. This persists beyond several power cycles oif the library and a couple IPLs of the attached iSeries box as well. How to unlock/rectify? Thanks! Carter

We plan to change our alternate installation device. I understand I can do this though the control panel using function 21 to get into the DST menu. What I would like to know is, do we have to IPL once we’re done making the change or can it be done without interrupting the system? Thanks [...]
