Hi , This is kennedy completed B.Tech(IT) last year and searching for the job.But still i did nt get any Now I decided to join in a course.For joining a course I have two options.One is AS400(Programming) and the next one is Mainframe As I am a fresher , I dont know much.So Please can any one help to take a decision that which would be good in future Thanks, Kennedy.

I was active in this market for 10 years, and attained a high degree of competency – cranking out business systems on behalf of mainly blue chip clients. But it all came to a stop in 2002. Was this a political matter, an outsourcing matter? Or a technology change matter (I am now open source oriented).

Hi, I’ve been working for last 3.5 years in AS400 and in which Cobol400 as programming language. I didnot get any chance to work in RPG in these years. Actually i want to grow in my career as technical expert in AS400. But being only knowledge in cobol and cl, i am not sure that i will make it. Could you help me by giving some suggestions that i need to do to become an expert in AS400.

Also i have a question that will this AS400 be there for next 10-15 years; as i keep on hearing gossips that IBM is going to stop support for AS400. Is this true??
