AS/400 Disaster Recovery – Restore Date preservation
Is there a way to preserve an object’s Restore Date (as seen when using the DSPOBJD command)? Ex: When conducting a Disaster Recovery test, we would prefer to retain the existing Restore Dates of our objects rather than having all objects updated with the Restore Date of our disaster recovery test.

How can I consolidate backup tapes across different LPARS using BRMS on OS/400 V5R3? We are using IBM 3584 tape library with 12 drives used by 15 LPARS. I want to consolidate daily incremental backups so that one tape can be used by 3 or 4 LPARS on a daily basis.
