I rstlib from tape. Some of the files restore, some do not, Message say it is damaged. Load another tape from same facility and same messages. ALso get problem form another facility. Some I do not. I replaced out type drive. Still have problem. Is it the other facilities tape drive? Need a PTF?...

Can full magstar tapes be reported as media error during a backup?
Hello,I have recenlty been getting media errors on my magstar tapes during full backups. All libaries don't save, and no matter which tape I use, I get a media error toward the end of the library list.
