AS400 Cache battery Alert in V6R1
Is there a way out to generate a report of CACHE BATTERY status of multiple LPARs at a time? We are having more than 70 AS400 LPARs(v6r1). Normally I log into individual LPARs and check the status through SST.So its very hectic to check manually for 70+ LPARs.

Filed in D specs is not getting initialized on the 2nd call to program.
My RPG programs fields in the D specs that are set to initialize Example(D Fld1    S      1A     INZ(‘Y’) will work the first time the program is called but not on the second call of the same program.

I am receiving a Level Check on a CL. The DSPPGMREF and DSPFD show matching Record Level Identifiers. I cannot figure out the cause or the fix. Can someone help me, please? Thanks.

Uploading cyrillic characters to the AS400
I’m trying to load from an Excel spreadsheet a parts and description list onto the AS400 containing cyrillic character sets ie Russian, Chinese. When I run it at the moment i don’t get the characters I want. I’ve tried different character set codes.

Thank you Charlie, that was the only command I didn’t try. One other question,,,,I have 248 objects in my library, 95% of the objects are at version 6.1. i need them back to 5.4, what would be your recommendation?
