We have just installed the PC Console to our AS400 system. This is installed in a remote server. Can we login through QCTL subsystem while the system is up and running or will it affect the production?

Hi friends, when I’m plugged in Subsystem QCTL, I see the Ports 23, 2520, 8471 and 8476 listenning ‘. I’m monitoring that Ports and that Ports do not listenning it sounds an alarm for my monitoring software. what am I doing wrong?, or is there another way to monitor these ports. Tks again.

From time to time we recieve the error message: Subsysbem QDP had an allocation error for device XXXXXXXXX. The cause: The allocation of the device was lost by the subsystem or by an interactive job in the subsystem. Is anyone familiar with this error and how to resolve? Thanks for your help.
