<p>She hooked up the laptop to her TV using a standard analog VGA cable to watch some netflix movies.</p>
<p>Next time she restarted the computer, she got a black screen, with the &#8220;Start Windows Normally&#8221; option, and a few others like &#8220;Recover&#8221;.  Either option takes her to the screen where the green bar just keeps going and going and going, never loading anything.</p>
<p>It sounds to me like there might be a problem with her graphics card driver, or possibly she has a corrupted hardware profile, but I am not sure.  I have not really tried much.  Any ideas?</p>
