I joined an exchange 5.5 to exchange 2003 migration in progress and I am faced basically with the cleanup of remaining email accounts that could not be moved. I have at least 100 users who have AD accounts generated by the ADC which are disabled with functional 5.5 email boxes and I can not migrate their 5.5 mail accounts through AD. I saw the NOMAS tool and other KB articles addressing fixing functionality of mail flow but is adding the Self permission and altering the other attributes allow you to then enable those accounts, migrate the email to 2003 and then be able to have full AD and email functionality?
