mobile ad hoc network security issue

Accessing files/folder on XP and Vista PCs
I set up 2 PCs(a vista & an XP) on AD-HOC, I was able too access file shared on the XP but unable to access files shared on the vista from the XP PC,pls show me the way out.

System Security = hacking into laptop
