Issue viewing “additional controls” for toolbox in VBE

I am unable to view the dialogue box when I select the “additional controls” option from the VBE menu bar, or when right clicking on the toolbox itself. The project I created on one computer includes several forms, one of which includes a few DTPicker(s). Some internal office issues have forced me to work on my project from a different computer…what do ya know…the code doesn’t fully work!

The issue is the DTPicker control. I have checked my references, and mscomct2.ocx is linked to the project. The file exists in the system32 folder. I’ve tried to code my project to programactically create the DTPicker(s) i need (using CreateObject(“MSComCtl2.DTPicker”)), but receive Runtime Error ’429′. I’ve also tried to find the controls I need using the “additional controls” opiton for the toolbox, but the dialogue box to choose which controls I wish to add to the toolbox does not appear. I have checked a couple other systems in the office. Some have this same issue, but on some the dialogue box appears just fine, and I am able to select whatever controls I need to use.

All the systems run Windows XP and Excel 2003, so I’m not sure why some work and some don’t.

I’ll continue to search the web for answers, but at this point I have NO idea what the issue is. If I’m too vague or confusing…sorry I’m a bit confused myself

Activex objects in ASP not working properly

Whenever i try to create a text file or insert into or delete data from table thru ASP scripts, i get the error msg ‘Permission Denied’, although the same program works properly in some other system. Pls help. Sometimes I get ‘Must be an updateable query’ although the query is correct and works with some other student in some other machine. I’ve been told that IIS should be loaded from the same CD as Windows XP has been loaded, or else such problems will occur. Is this true?

Add ActiveX Calendar that drops date in field

Does anyone know of a web address where there are easy clear instructions on how to create an activeX control that will drop the date into a field on another form. Or if you feel like writing your own instructions…
I’ve tried taking apart various ones off other databases but when I try to alter it to fit mine, the code keeps going wrong
