ORA-27101 error when migrating Oracle 9i to AD domain
We are running Oracle 9 on a Windows 2003 box. We moved the server from a Windows domain to an AD domain. We then get an error messages looking like this: ORACLE not available ORA-27101 When we back out of the changes, everything works fine again. Any ideas? Thank you.

Problem with adding a member server as a domain controller

After demoting a DC, the computer name still exist in AD Sites and Services!?
I run dcpromo to demote a DC to normal server. However, it still exists in AD sites and services, but there is no connection to it. Do I have to delete it from “AD Sites and Services” manually? Thanks.
