How do I convert rows to columns in aAccess using Ms-access query(select statment)

Hello all, please I want help with the following issue:

I have the following table named “CHECKINOUT” in ms ACCESS

I want to convert the previous table to the get the following result using MS-access query

The `CHECKIN`, `CHECKOUT`, `COLUMN_NIMBER` depend on the data in `CHECKTIME` for every user.

Progressive Incident ID number in Access 2007

I have a db that records each security infraction at a library. The desired ID number for it is year/month/day/number of event that particular day (example, 2010/12/01-1 for the first event, 2010/12/01-2 for the second, etc.) My question: I have this — 0000/00/00-0;_;;_ — as the format for people to enter, but is there a way for Access to generate the final number (the 1, 2, 3, 4…) on its own based on what is already in the db? I guess what I’m asking is this: can Access a) assign the final number automatically after someone enters the year/month/day manually? or b) assign a number in this format every time someone opens the DB to enter a new incident? Print Preview and Printing Drops Pages from Reports

WE have been using the same ACCESS Database for 7 years.

Suddenly, worksheets and reports that have always printed out perfectly are not dropping entire pages; for example, if there are five pages of information, it will drop page 2-3-4 but print page 1 and 5. What would cause that?

Hi, I need to be able to combine (concatenate?) fields in Access so that each item in Field 1 is joined to each item in Fields 2 thru 5. I have tried to illustrate this in the samples below… In the samples below, Account code is in Field 1… String(s) to be added are in Field 2. Then in Field 3 I need for each code in Field 1 to be joined with all of the strings in Field 2 thru Field 5. Account Code String(s) to be added to each Account Code 001-001001-001234- 401260 001-001001-002345- 401270 001-001001-003456- 401280 001-001001-004567- 750400 001-001001-005678- 410000 001-001001-006789- 420000 002-002001-001234- 430000 002-002001-002345- 440000 002-002001-003456- 450000 002-002001-004567- 460000 002-002001-005678- 002-002001-006789- 002-002001-006543- 002-002001-006432- 002-002001-006321- So I would like to end up with this result: 001-001001-001234-401260 001-001001-001234-401270 001-001001-001234-401280 001-001001-001234-750400 001-001001-001234-410000 … and on and on until each account code in Field 1 has been combined with every string in Field 2 thru Field 5. Index with page numbers in Access

We have created a form that we use for a directory in Access. We have created an index as well, but how can I add page numbers that correspond to the correct person/record?

Microsoft Access 2003

I have a Today button that uses the command..

Private Sub cmdtoday_Click()
‘Sets the Date From and Date To text boxes
‘to Today’s Date

Me!OSJPQFrom = Date
Me!OSJPQTo = Date

End Sub

To put Today’s date into my From and To Date fields.

The problem is I have these From and To fields on the same forum as the records. When you press the Today button, it pulls the date from that current record.

How do I get it to pull the actual date?

MS Access – Create Median Aggregate Function

Is it possible (and has anyone done it yet) to create additional aggregate functions in MS Access (I’m using 2007)? In particular, I want to create “Group By” queries that calculate the Median of each group. I have a median function that works on entire columns (or subsets) individually, but it doesn’t work as a aggregate function like AVG, SUM, COUNT, etc. do.
