How to replace a record in Microsoft Access 97 with VB 6.0

I create a program with vb 6.0 and i connected with ms access 97.
Now i don’t know how to replace an existing record.
For example i have the field “A” and the record is “20″ now i want to replace “20″ with “15″

When I import data from MS Excel v2003 into MS ACCESS v97, some of the data converts (numbers) converts to scientific form (4268411 converts to 4.26841e+006) even though I specify that the column format is text. How can I stop this from happening?

Conditional Format – Access 97

Unfortunately, the company I work for uses Access 97, and the Conditional Format Wizard is not available in this version. Can you help me with building a macro/expression to create a conditional format for a form? I need to format the form’s background color based simply on whether the record is “Active” vs. “Inactive.”

I would like to have the first character of a field print without the first character? (ex: LC7 to print as C7, The size of the field may vary)
