Hi, I am a SAP ABAP certified fresher. For now I got placed in a company with SAP BW profile. My question to all SAP Experts is that : Should I go ahead with SAP BW profile or search for another job as I am a certified ABAP developer. Which option is having a better future?

I have basic knoweldge of abap.but my boss is not allowing me to do work in sap.he is asking for certification or training as we all know certification is very costly and training program is low cost .by considering my carrier what i suppose to choose form just traing program or certification.I passed BE Comps in2011 so please help me..

Question is:

I have a shell script written for moving the flat file from FTP server(Windows Operating System) to SAP Application server (Linux Operating System). I donot have a access to execute that script at linux level but i can write a ABAP program to execute the same so that the script will move the flat file from remote server(FTP) to local server (App server). I requesting, could you plz provide me the ABAP code to call the script? Also i have a no.of questions to ask. i will come one by one.

Why only asking sandeep means. He posted a newsletter that how to move a file from one folder to another folder. i am expecting the similar answers. also, i beleive somebody also could do. hope its not hurting anybody. sorry.

there is a line type of x1 in a table node with 2 cells in it of a smartform. and i am assigning the same line type to display two text and two correspondig barcodes under the texts. my requirement is to protect the texts and the barcodes together when there is no sufficient space on the window

Hi, I am Debashish from Kolkata.I was till recently working as IT Manager with one MNC.I have 12yrs of experience in IT and IT support function ranging from technical to techno managerial profiles.However due to some unavoidable issues regarding job profile and enviornment there, I have quit and now have decided to move with SAP.I am not a hard core functional guy although I have some exposure while working with various business domains like manufac and BFSI in terms of IT applications. Being basically an application guy I have decided to take up ABAP, but need some correct combination along with it to have quick entry into Job segment. Please suggest me one.
