System Restore troubleshooting
help i cannot do a system restore, the message i got is system restore as been turned off by group policy, and i need to contact domain administrators please help as I am not good with computers : )

OK you can WInternals ERD CD and can reset the administrator password, then you can try to restore the windows XP

Is the computer in question part of a domain? If so, then this may not be a problem that requires fixing per se.

You could always check group policy because that’s the original problem you asked…

Start>Run>gpedit.msc
