System Manager becomes unresponsive when trying to access Public Folders

Has anyone run into this problem. It doesn't matter what account I use, or how I go about trying to access the Pfs from SysMan. All PFs are accessible from an Outlook client, but I can not access them from the System Manager, it simply becomes unresponsive and I have to shut it down. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Are you running Exchange System Manager from a computer that has Outlook installed on it? I have found that the Public Folder permissions can’t be edited from a computer that has Outlook installed, but I haven’t experienced the System Manager becoming unresponsive. If you aren’t running System Manager directly on the Exchange server, or from a remote connection to the Exchange server, you could try it that way (assuming you don’t have Outlook installed on your Exchange server.)
