Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

I would start off by trying to identifying the process which is causing the CPU utlisation
Go into task manager (Start->Run, taskmgr.exe) click on the processes tab and click on the CPU column a couple of times. The image name will be the process running with the highest utilisation.

A couple of other ideas

Have you scanned for malware using something like malware bytes or Lavasoft Adaware?

what process is ocupying cpu..svchost?

We have the same issue occassionally throughout the day. Normally its the mcafee process during an update. It can seem like your system is hung up at this time. I'd definitely look at your processes.

It is possibility that your computer has not enough proper cooling. You should check about your cooling system. If you want more help you can go to at: www.iyogi.net

First check with a good anti virus and make sure there is no virus in your system. For better result use MWAV (free) in safe mode for all drives and full scan option.

Sluggish computer can be caused when too many applications are running at the same time. Also if you are running multiple AV programs they could be conflicting with each other, It may also be automatic updates for your programs. I have scheduled mine to run at a time when I am not going to do anything else. It can also be hardware related. If you are putting a strain on the CPU or not enough memory left to run the program.
