 Sysprep and Virtual Machines

Do you sysprep before P2V or after P2V? I want to create a standardized virtual machine to use as a base VM when installing different apps for different uses but not sure of when to use sysprep.

Answer Wiki:
P2V the physical machine, then remove it from the domain, rename it. Then make any changes that are needed to make the image, then run sysprep.
