Can anybody tell me how to create a model library in synon.When i tried to crate my own model library in my company synon server with following command Y2SY/YCRTMDLLIB MDLLIB(MYMDLLIB) GENLIB(*GEN) SQLLIB(*DBFGEN) DSNSTD(*SYS),I got a error that saying there is error in call command.can anybody guide me to create a model library and model in synon.I am new to synon and want to practice synon with my own model.

From the product menu,

Option 51 is ‘Commands to set up or alter a model ‘

use that, or the YCRTMDLLIB
(Create Model Library. ) command

as a generator, some objects have to exist in the library, and this command places them there.

    I got a error that saying there is error in call command... What was the error in the call command? A CALL command might run any function in the system. That means that almost any error can come out of a CALL. You need to tell us what that error was before we can offer suggestions. You might tell us how you ran the YCRTMDLLIB command. Did you type it on a command line or submit it to batch? How was the logging set in the job that ran that command? Tom
