Syncing Calendar Attachments between IPhone and Exchange

Our company recently switched over to IPhones, at first we did not have a problem seeing calendar attachments on our IPhone IOS calendars. Here recently this has changed and is affecting the entire company. Which leads me to believe this is a server setting and not a phone problem. Is there a setting that may have been changed on the server or does anyone have any ideas. We are running outlook 2007 on our PC's, iPhone 4S with IOS 6, exchange server 2008. We can see the attachments on our PC's but not on our phones. Thanks.

Software/Hardware used:
Exchange Server 2008, iPhone 4S with IOS 6, outlook 2007

Are you connecting directly over the internet to your exchange server? are you using auto discovery? Or gateway?

Not sure, when setting up the account on our IPhones we uses the Microsoft exchange option and inputed our usernames, passwords, domain, and server address

We have this same problem. It is causing mass chaos. Why are the calendar attachments not transferring to smart phones? The calendar events set up in Outlook on a PC are still there (with attachments) and are on the receiver's PC, but if the message is read a smart phone (e.g., iPhone), the documents are lost. As soon as you "accept" the calendar event via a smart phone, the event is stored but the attachments are gone (as is the e-mail notification that you had a calendar event to begin with). This is crazy.
