how can I synchronize deleted emails from computer to handheld or how can I delete multiple messages from handheld instead of doing one at a time?

if it is a Windows Mobile device in the deleted items you can select all items by selecting them as in a normal computer (click and drag to select all).

if your mobile device has a slide out keyboard or you can use the on-screen keyboard and <ctrl> c;lick items that are not contiguous.
Syncing with a windows mobile if you delete on the PC while the mobile device is docked can be initated by manually forcing a sync.
