Symantec Anti-Virus not showing definition date

I am running Symantec's NAV version 8.00.9374 on Windows Server 2000 and Windows XP Pro workstations. Ever since the new year, when I downloaded the latest definitions, it no longer shows me on the main screen what the date of the version is. It doesn't show anything at all. It's doing the download and updating the definitions, but I don't know when the last time it ran unless I do it manually. Anyone else notice this?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

I have exactly the same issue, however im also confident that its working correctly.

I have symantec system centre v5 installed on my server this also reports the definition dates as blank.

However on my pc i run client version 8.1.1.319. I have also installed ssc v5 and it reports that all my clients have the correct and up to date definitions.

Thoughts.???

We currently dont/havent paid any subscription. I guess the best way to solve it would be to spend some cash.

Same problem here.... Just started looking into it. Anyone else find any information. Symantec is utterly useless and not helpful at all on this.

I have this same issue with a client. The above solution might work, but it needs to be broken down and pin-pointed a little more. Anyone else want to take a shot at deciphering that? Thanks.

also experiencing the same problem with 8.00.9374 server and clients on mixed os. seems the problem only started in new year. definitions are getting applied to client but UI does not show definition date. additionally the SCC (Symantec System Console) does not show any definition dates next to client list. ironically we have another vp server (running 9.0.0.1400) on the same network and it seems uneffected by the change that's occured with client ui's displaying the correct information and the server showing the client definitions. i don't suspect this is prevented the av from working correctly but it's un-nerving to see a long list of client machines with no date in the definition column. Any help on the orginal question (which is the same as mine) would be appreciated.
