Switching views in Excel when filtered

I have several macros that switch views for a very large spreadsheet. I also have filtering available for the various columns. However, whenever the view is switched, the filtering is turned off. If filtering is on, I would like the filtered view to not change. Is there a way to keep the filtering from turning off? Or, alternatively, to get the current setting with a macro command before the view is switched and then applying it again after the view is switched? Thanks!
