Suse Linux authentication failure for mail managed by postfix

Postfix, SUSE Linux

I'm receiving the follow messages in postfix suse linux. 10.3

May 28 09:21:27 ns pop3[21101]: badlogin: agf.censa.com.ni [192.168.2.23] DIGEST-MD5 authentication failure

Clients can not receive emails, when I try to connect to the mail server, Outlook can not download any email even though they are in the mailbox.

My question is, how can I change the mode of authentication?

regards

Yreal

I doubt this has anything to do with postfix. You'll notice that the log message comes from a service calling itself "pop3." What pop daemon are you running? That is the config that you need to look at.
