See, I have a pc running SuSE 10.3, and a private network with pc's running xp. The SuSE computer is connected through an ethernet card, and has a 2nd card installed (this 2nd card is connected to the private network router). Both cards are well configured. SuSE has its internet connection, and pings XP's. (Also XP's ping suse). However, I can't find how to configure iptables! I have looked for the file in the etc folder without any luck. I also reinstalled iptables, but nothing. How do I get the private network working, since the pc's find each otther, but XP's have no internet access??

Most modern linux distros have their own firewall configuration tool. With SUSE, you need to use yast2 to do all of your system configuration.

Execute ‘yast2’, or go to the ‘Control Center’ in the menu, and find ‘firewall’ .
