I'm executing a CL procedure on the iSeries that uploads several .txt files from a network server. All but one of them works fine but the DOS pop-up screen for that one appears with some sort of message. Problem is it pops up and disappears so fast that I can't read it. Is there a way of stopping the DOS pop-up so that I can see what the problem is?

Use the option  PAUSE(*YES) on the strprcmd

The PAUSE(*YES) parameter only tells the iSeries procedure to wait until the executing command finishes before going onto the next. It doesn't pause the pop-up. However, after a few attempts, I managed to do a screen print just at the right moment and captured the text of the error and fixed the problem. Turned out to be an issue with the .fdf file that described the layout of the target file on the iSeries. Thanks for your response. No further replies are necessary.
