Hi,

I am using STRPCCMD to run a PC bat file. In my XP and Vista PCs the job runs and control returns back to the iSeries. Under Windows 7 the job does not wait or excute the PC bat file.

I am running V5R4. I have upgraded client access - personal communictions to version 5.9, but still no success - any ideas ?

Update tour antivirus software and also check your Temp files including virus. Then after scan your PC remotely. Definitely you will get success.

does this need to run as 'adminstrator' under W7? - MS finally started to begin to have some security, so you should look at W7 user profiles as you would an IBM i user profile and consider what authority it/they need. - just a though off the top of the head, as they say. CP/M lives!

Thanks for the information. The job does not need to run as Admin.
