strm36 command will not start 36 machine following complete restore
IBM just replaced all of our disk drives. Following the complete system restore from tape, the STRM36 command fails and ends abnormally without starting the machine. I checked and the machine and its config are on disk. The machine is an advanced 36, 9402-436. The system says that it is unable to start the m3601 machine. What would cause this?
I have a hardware contract with IBM but no software contract.
Any suggestions??

Has IBM installed any PTF's during this fix? The S/36 virtual machine is no longer supported on the recent versions of the OS.
