Are you trying to store more than 2 Gigs of data in a single field of a single row, or are you trying to have a database larger than 2 Ggis? If you are trying to store more than 2 Gigs of data in a single field of a single row you can't. 2 Gigs is the limit. However you really shouldn't be storing files that large in the database directly. You should store them on the file system directly and store a pointer to the fil ein the database. If you are trying to have a database that is over 2 Gigs SQL Server will support databases into the several terabytes in size. Only the Express edition is size limited and it is limited to 4 Gigs per database.
