I’m trying to change an existing stored procedure. I’m using the command:

ALTER 'name_of_stored"procedure'
When I do so, the name comes up with red highlighting, denoting that it is an invalid object. Although I am able to execute the command successfully, I want to know why SQL Server 2008 R2 shows it as an error?

ALTER PROCEDURE dbo.TestPlans
