I’ve had a keen interest in virtualized storage as I was a product manager back in the mid-90′s for one of the industry’s first (if not the first) mid-range virtualized array – HP AutoRAID. And of course storage virtualization continues to be a hot topic now, especially with solutions like HP 3PAR, P4000 LeftHand SAN, and the EVA.

I haven’t really gained a lot of knowledge in regards to storage vm but it’s definitely going to change the face of IT if it starts to walk on its own.
